Lord Jim’s is one of The Oriental Bangkok's dining options. The restaurant is famous worldwide both because of its name of a fictional hero and seafood menu which makes it lives up to its popularity.Aquatic interiors and view of the river make you feel like a part of a sea-adventure.
Inside the restaurant is decorated with beads of glass hang like coral clusters from the ceiling. The carpet whirls in currents of blue, like the surface of the ocean, a motion mirrored in half-moon booths around a central circular island of tables. Other seating hugs the river-view wall of windows.
Seafood lovers can choose from a wide range of exotic delicacies that are revised regularly. Much of the seafood is flown in daily, fresh from Ranong, on the Andaman coast, and there are live tanks in the depths of the hotel. Traditional items like sushi and sashimi are also a part of the lunch buffet. Finish your meal with 'Chocolate Fountain' which is a dessert good enough for two.
